We have carried out our Inspection & Testing. What next? We need to indicate to the person using the electrical appliance   that the appliance or system is safe or unsafe to use. Therefore we use a label or tag system to indicate:- the date of the   inspection or test, the date of the next inspection / test or the frequency, the unique identification number & the signature or   initials of the test engineer. Further identification can be by means of a bar code label.

Labels come in all shapes & sizes. Some are paper, some are too small, they get defaced and fall off. But our label & tag   systems are here to stay. They also comply with the code of practice.
